Banking on their reputation and great customer service to carry them thru the next quarter is a gamble that doesn’t often pay off.

After 12 years online and many face lifts and tweaks over the years, Here Kitty Kitty- my on line luxury pet boutique-suddenly started suffering a loss in traffic in January 2010. We hadn’t changed anything drastically with the site, but we had become busy trying to develop new products, handling inventory, traveling to pet expos, etc. We had become complacent with the technical end of our store. Big Mistake! When you fail to stay ahead of the curve it is much harder to catch up later and get back to your former glory.

That is when we hired Eddie Olavarria with Store Mechanics to whip us back in shape. Within just a couple of weeks Eddie and his team had us on our way back. Over the years we have worked with other tech groups and design groups and never have we had such service. In our initial consultation Eddie at once grasped the seriousness and urgency we had about our site problems and set out to work around the clock to get it fixed. Not only was this a refreshing change for us but as a bonus Eddie also took the time to understand our business....our strengths and what we were all about, where we wanted to go and what our customers expected from us. Thankfully we now embark on our summer season with new energy. The coding of our store is clean and current. Our design is contemporary and fresh and our site is more organized than it has ever been, giving our customers a better on line shopping experience. We are grateful and we are not finished with Store Mechanics. We will continue to seek their advice and trust that they will take care of us, as we take care of our customers.
